Title: Transitions Between Excited Electronic States Of H2 Molecules By Electron Impact

Abstract: We present theoretical integral and differential cross sections for transitions produced by electron collision with an excited H2 molecule (c3Πμ and a3Σg (+)) obtained with the Schwinger multichannel method in a four-state approximation. We also present the transition rates obtained with these cross sections. The results indicate the importance of these scattering processes in modeling H2 discharge.
