|Abstract:||Experiments of electron-spin resonance (ESR) were performed on Co2+ in single-crystal and powder samples of NH4NiPO4·6H2O. The angular variation of the resonance field of the crystalline sample can be interpreted in terms of two magnetically nonequivalent sites related by a symmetry operation. From the fitting of the ESR data, the spin-Hamiltonian parameters are determined. A theoretical analysis of these results is presented.|
