Abstract: The mediation between the universe of science and the universe of the reader, the reader, the one who moves away from the production of science and who obtain information about the theme of science through institutionalized channels, such as the press, has always been one of the main points of scientific dissemination, but with the advancement of digital channels connected in a network, this mediation of information from the scientific community to the lay public has gained diverse contours, such as the dissemination of scientific content in the form of memes by non-journalists via social media platforms, means that make use of memes as narrative elements in the construction of new configurations of languages ??on scientific dissemination. In order to understand how these forms of language can come from social networks and blogs, this research has as corpus Facebook page I fucking love Science, which makes use of this "discourse" to disseminate scientific information through the social network through of memes, message formats characteristic of the digital medium and that generally use images and a tone of irony, in addition to purposely grotesque montages. Memes can also be classified as units of information, meaningful units (ORLANDI, 1995), complex units of signification (ORLANDI, 1982), formed by text, image, video and audio, simultaneously or in isolation, that are created and disseminated within of the online digital environment. Considering materiality not in an empirical way, but as a process in which ideology, language and unconsciousness are related in discourse (DIAS, 2009, 8), the discourse has the digital material as a space of signification (DIAS, 2012), acts in a space material where the senses circulate and constitute (idem) in order to displace the relation between subject, language, image and sense. By relating between pairs on a given subject and traversed by the discourse of memory, in the material form of memes in the materiality of the digital, the subject slides his relationship with the language and with the knowledge, since "language is, therefore, the central axis of the production of any and all knowledge about himself, about the world, through technology" (DIAS, 2009; ). In an analysis based on Discourse Analysis (AD), the highlight is not in the text of the meme and neither in the image (or video, montage, etc.), but in the sense that each one produces. The important thing to be emphasized at this specific point would not be the format itself, but the effect of meaning that the user produces in producing the meme reading. The corpus chosen in this way is in a page created in a social network in 2012, therefore very recent, and that aims to disseminate scientific information through messages that appropriate, among other points, but in large part, of psychic components, that break with the form of reading about a science that has already been set up, where new gestures of reading of events, often divergent from institutional positions, are established, causing subjects to assume a subject-position, inscribed in a given discursive formation (Dias, Coelho, 2012)
