Abstract: Vaccine hesitancy is considered by the World Health Organization (WHO) as one of the ten threats to global health. Since it was responsible for falling the vaccination coverage observed in countries of different regions worldwide, and consequently for the return of diseases that were controlled or eradicated. Underlying vaccination hesitation there are many factors that make subjects reluctant or unwilling to vaccinate, making this a complex multifactorial problem. The general motivations identified by WHO for non-immunization include accessibility barriers, availability and acceptability of immunization service in certain regions; low perception of disease risk, which makes vaccination unnecessary; and lack of confidence in vaccines and authorities in charge of the service. In view of the foregoing, this work considers the anti-vaccine speech, or the contrariety and resistance to the vaccination identified in the operation of this discourse, only one of aspects that constitute the vaccine hesitation. In this trend, opposing groups or those who fear immunization have attracted attention on Facebook with the release of news that discredits the need and the effectiveness of immunizers, causing doubt and fear on the vaccine by exposing possible side effects. They have been cited as one of the possible causes of falling immunization coverage and recent disease outbreaks in several countries. The analysis suggests that anti-vaccine discourse is crossed by the discourse of knowledge, sustained and legitimized, mainly, by the appropriation of scientific discourse. Moreover, it identifies the production of a suspicion of positioning on the official institutions existing in society. This functioning suggests a political dispute for the meanings about the vaccine/vaccination. A dispute that establishes and opposes the institutional discourse on the vaccine, it was understood as a pro-vaccine discourse. In this discourse, unlike the anti-vaccine, the subjects are identified with the institutional speeches and are enrolled in a relationship that produces the vaccine/vaccination as protection and safety. From this point of view, from the theoretical-methodological bias of the French School (AD), this work arms to understand the effects of meaning that the anti-vaccine and institutional discourses on the vaccine - represented by the Ministry of Health - they produce in the subject within the digital space of Facebook, conceiving the digital as a new place where the subjects are politically organized in the society. Thus, it opens a listening to understand the processes of meaning that both subjects establish about the vaccine. We proposed an analysis of posts and comments in a group and a page of this social media, once according to our studies the comments influence the opinion of users. In this work, they were managed, as gestures of interpretation, formulations in which the subject is inscribed in the production and constitution of the senses and produce new effects of meaning in its and in the other with which it interacts. A place to observe the various meaning movements about the vaccine, thus, constituting an essential element of the analysis
